         today 27 March we went at Tamaki College for Technology

today we cook sweet and sour pork  and it was yummy

Step-1 slice the onion - and fry

2. slice the pork

3. carrot- cut in oval shape

4. cauli flower and pepper#

5. sauce--- flour and pepper

6. serve with rice. 

Maths

Today 20th March we were working on our maths work that our teacher gave us to do.

She gave us five questions but it's to us to pick only one question and work on it. 

I picked the second question as you can see at the top. I tried my best to work hard til the 

end as you can see now I completed it by myself. 

Technology

Today 20th March we went at Tamaki College for Technology .

We made chop  suey ( sapasui )

Step (1) - Soak vermicelli with hot water.

Step (2) - slice vegetables 

eg-carrot - peel and slice.

Step (3) meat slice and strips.

We use carrot onion pepper and meat.

After we cut all our vegetables and the meat

we boil the vermicelli with the hot water and fry the onion.

we add the carrot broccoli pepper  and meat.

After we ate our food teacher told us to clean the whole dishes.

And that what happen on our Technology day. 

Last Kiwi sport of the year 2019.

Hi my name is Timu and i'm going to tell you what was happen on our last Kiwi Sport of the year. Today 18th of March we had our last Kiwi sport's day of the year 2019. We start now, our coach's name is Rebecca, she puts us in different teams our first game is target and snatches.  I know many people know this game and some people don't know this game. This is how you play this game. The coach puts the pig in the hoop then you and your team go and stand opposite where the pig and the hoop is. Then when the coach blows the whistle, the person who stands in the front of your team runs together with the person  beside you in the other team. The first person who gets the pig and run back to his team, that team makes one point but if that person get the pig and run but the other person tag him there is no point for each teams.

 

We are heading towards our third game. Our third game is just like the same as the second game. You do the scissors jump but it supposed to be three people in one team. The other two people hold the rope straight and the other person do the scissors jump. If the person who does the scissors jump, jumps and hit the rope, it will be the other person's turn. And then it keeps going until the coach blows the whistle every one will come and sit down and listen for the instructions for the last game

After our first  game the coach ask us  to sit down and listen to the instructions for the second game . Our second game, you need to jump high and face your toes to the sky and your hands to the sky too. And that you call scissors jump we did scissors jump to jump over the orange thing at the bottom. Your team  is all standing at the back one person in the front go first if that person go and come back tap the other persons hand. The first team that gets to seat down first that teams win.

Our last game is called high jump. It's similar to the scissor's jump. There's two bars. One high and one low.  If you don't make it over the high bar then you try the low bar. And then we continue on until the coach blows the whistle.  After that, the coach tells us to sit down and the she gave a thank you speech to all of us. And also it is our last day for Kiwi Sports for the year.

Year 7 first assembly of the year 2019

Hello my name is Timu,year 8 student at St Pius X School. Today on 15 March we celebrate the room 7 first assembly of the year 2019. Our teacher put us in 6 different groups, the first group is the (ARTIST) this group there are two girls in it .The other group is the (SCIENTIST) this group there is only one boy in it. The other group is my group is (RELIGIOUS EDUCATION) it just two of us Me and my partner Charis was on this group. The two other groups are (MATHEMATICIAN) and (Literacy Expert). Anyway we get start now. We start from the prayer to bless our morning first, then start with the first group then the  second group and then my group. I'm the one who need to introduce our work about GOD STRAND, but I felt very nervous and my partner Charis whisper to me and he said (DON'T WORRY TIMU YOU CAN DO THIS) then i put my head up straight in front of the whole school and every one was there.  After I introduce our work  then i let my partner to tell more of what we have been working on these past weeks. After all different group explain all about what they work

                                          

                                                 








Ok. here is what was happen after ME and my partner Charis explain about GOD STRAND and other groups explain about what they did.The next step is about CERTIFICATES AWARDS we start from the room 1-5,and it suppose to be four certificates for each class. And then my class. My teacher walk up and hold the certificates in her hands. I didn't expect that I will receive a certificate. My teacher then called out the first name. I didn't hear the name she called out but my partner Charis whisper to me ( TIMU IT IS YOU ) (ME: WHAT?) i reply (YOU GOT A CERTIFICATE) certificate? i ask my self what did i do right?. I walk up and meet the principal he is holding my certificate we shake hands and he gave me the certificate and i stand beside him. Then my teacher call out the second name but wasn't there and then my class was only three people in my class, as you see at the picture at the top. I got the DO MY BEST CERTIFICATE.
but i'm not the only one who got a certificate my little sister and my little brother got certificates to. But we all got the same theme DO MY BEST and that what happen.

Techonology

Today at Technology we made (Fritata with Kumara)

Step1. fry the onion

Step 2. Peel kumara and 

crate (cheese crater)

-mix with two eggs

-bake for 20 mins
